Hurricane Season Ends Today…Nov 30th
2017 Hurricane season comes to a close today, and leaves it’s imprint of significant financial losses and devastating results for many lives, families, and businesses. This year alone produced 17 named storms including 10 Hurricanes ( 5 of which were Major Hurricanes). Although we strive each year, to be better prepared and more informed, the truth is, we can only predict. With 2017 already behind us, NOAA is already at work with new technology, to better prepare us for the next hurricane season. Time to set your clocks back Nov 5, 2017
Good News – An extra hour of sleep this weekend.
If you are still feeling groggy from loosing your hour of sleep from spring forward in March, 2017, well this weekend you get it back. As a friendly reminder, set your clocks back 1 hour on Sunday Evening before you go to bed. I love the fall, and with the extra hour setback, the drives home from work in the evenings paint some of the most beautiful fall sunsets.
